On April 16, 2003 Michael Jordan played his final game in the NBA with the Washington Wizards in Philadelphia where he faced off against Allen Iverson and the 76ers. The “hoopla” included celebrity row, a personalized golf cart and the classic Chicago Bulls PA announcer for MJ’s final introduction. As for on the court, the Wizards struggled but Jordan threw down his final dunk and completed his career on a pair of free throws in a 107-87 loss to the 76ers.

  1. I was at the final home game of his career. It was against New York. I still have the commemorative ticket and stub. 😉

  2. 0:31 damn this clip didn’t age well

EDIT: these announcers didn’t help either. Lol they kinda shitted on him the whole “tribute”

  3. He should've never retired after winning the 6th title. He caused his dream team Bulls to break up. The Bulls went from a championship caliber team to a team that would win 13-30 games a year. Also he would've had the chance to face the Spurs and Lakers in the Finals.

  4. It’s crazy to me how much Kobe modeled himself after MJ. His smile, his speech patterns, his tone, and his game.

No one is a bigger Mike Fan than Mamba. No one.

  5. I feel like the guy with the most potential that could have been his next heir apparent was Vince Carter. His freakish athleticism and superhuman talent in his early years were all signs that he was the next Jordan. Too bad injuries, bad teams and a not-so-strong will and determination did not make him fulfill his potential to the fullest.

  6. 4:22 started showing stats and why a lot of players considered/still considering him as G.O.A.T. <3 He's numbers well be surpassed and let us enjoy this for the meantime 🙂
