The Toronto Raptors have clinched the first NBA Finals appearance in franchise history as they overcame a 15-point deficit to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks by a final score of 100-94. The Raptors are the 21st team in NBA history to win a best-of-seven series after trailing 2-0 and the first team to do so since the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics in the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals. Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 27 points (9-22 FG), along with a career-high 17 rebounds and 7 assists for the Raptors in the victory. Leonard is the first player with that many points, rebounds, and assists in a playoff series-clinching win since Michael Jordan (38 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists) in the 1991 Eastern Conference Semifinals against the 76ers. The Raptors will face the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals presented by YouTubeTV, with Game 1 set to take place in Toronto on Thursday, May 30th at 9:00pm ET on ABC.

  1. Fucking surreal. This whole playoffs run by Kawhi. I feel like I'm back in the 90s watching a certain Bulls player dominating the East and the NBA. Electric. Love the NBA.

  2. Kawhi the best Raptor ever even if he leaves. Forever love from all of Canada Kawhi. Our country loves you no matter what.

  3. I followed Jlin from the New York days and him joining this team has been a trip. This whole team shows what made me love basketball. Collective effort! Toronto's fanbase is extraordinary. Makes me want to be there. Congrats!

  4. Imagine how the Superfan is feeling right now, 23 years of missing the Finals, some in heartbreak, some not, until the team finally makes it after 24 years to the Finals. He must be screaming

  5. I've been sent from the future to let you all know that the Raptors win the championship this year. And then KD will sign a contract with Toronto to join Kawhi where they will lead the Raptors on a 4 Year Dynasty run. The 5 Championships in a row go on to make the 2019-2024 Raptors the greatest team of all-time.

In 2024 they get beat in the Eastern Finals by Giannis and Lebron Jr.

  6. Everyone acts like Toronto didn’t make it because Lebron left Cleveland. Please, Lebron gifted them the East. Just don’t be sad when the Warriors smash you.

  7. 5:16 "yea boy, don't cry!" 🤣
I don't blame this man for getting emotional. Lowry devoted 7-8 years of his life & career for Toronto.
